In the early 90’s, Olde World Cheesecake was founded by Pat and Abbie Agresto based upon a love for quality baked goods. Taking their expertise in restaurants successfully in both Pennsylvania and Florida, Pat and Abbie applied their knowledge to the company and started supplying several local restaurants with Abbie’s cheesecakes, thus creating a local tradition. Since 1995 the wholesale component of Olde World has expanded, now serving and distributing product to over 200 accounts in Central and Northeastern Pa, New York City and the suburban area of Westchester County, N.Y. Olde World recently received national attention with the presentation of the Gallo Family Vineyard Gold Medal Award for “Best New Confectionary Product”. The judges for this award included Sara Molten of the Food Network and Ferdinand Metz, President Emeritus of the Culinary Institute of America and President of the World Association of Chefs. Having the good fortune to experience Good Morning America and Diane Sawyer create a piece on the Olde World product has helped increase Olde World’s exposure as they continue to provide their delicious confectionary delights both on a local and evergrowing national level. Through relationships with top quality supermarket chains, retail customers now embrace the Olde World artisan products currently available at Giant Carlisle Food Stores, Giant Landover Food Stores, and Ettline Foods. Olde World is also a baker of choice to Hershey Entertainment and Resorts and the Governor’s residence in Harrisburg, Pa. Although a prestigious “Pa Preferred” baker, Olde World is more than just a Central Pennsylvania baker. With their expanded growth, they are able to offer products to you and become your “Preferred Baker” as well.
